Today we launched the ChargePeer decentralized EV charging marketplace, connecting Seekers and Providers in a peer-to-peer energy network.
The platform features real-time radar mapping, live session telemetry, VSC credit wallet, and provider earnings dashboard.
Built with Rust and SvelteKit, ChargePeer handles thousands of concurrent sessions with sub-second latency. The WebSocket telemetry system streams live charging data including kW draw, voltage, temperature, and progress — all in real time.
Our initial network spans 60 cities across 6 continents, seeded with 6,000 charging points and 3,500 users. Every continent has at least 1,000 charging points representing local plug standards and power configurations.
The launch includes our VSC (Virtual Session Credits) wallet system with Stripe payment processing, instant top-ups, and carbon credit tracking. Every kWh charged through the platform earns carbon credits that can be traded or retired.
